A Mother's Grief

The first two years of being a mom I looked forward to mothers day. This year was different and thats okay. I didn't realize the gravity of both happiness and deep pain it is being a mom until I had to bury one. Being a mom is an honor to celebrate in anyway that fits. I had the honor of spending time with a bereaved mother Catherine Adams who helped me on this painful journey of being a mother grieving a child in heaven. I'll forever be grateful for her. There is always a mother out there who walked it first and you don't have to walk it alone.
